Before proceeding with lodging a warranty enquiry please ensure you have read the warranty information provided with your handover kit. Once you have read this information & have concluded you are eligible please contact SUNLAND CARAVANS via our contact form.
Ensure to include images & detailed descriptions of the issue(s), this will assist our team in determining how best to assist & what actions to take next.
This enquiry is also used to document & request spare parts or servicing for your SUNLAND CARAVANS. When enquiring about spare parts, please ensure to include a photo of the item & any measurements you can obtain to ensure we have as much information as possible.

WARRANTY
Effective as at 1st September 2017 Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd warrants to the original purchaser for a period not exceeding Five years from the date of purchase. The structure of the Caravan this includes the framing and any other Sunland manufactured items that are found to be defective and unable to be used for purpose in which they where originally intended. All other items have a minimum of 12 months. The chassis has a twenty year warranty against faulty workmanship or rust penetration. Any defect in the items of our manufacture will be repaired without charge either parts or labour incurred in that rectification. Such repairs will be at the sole discretion of Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd. having regard to the following terms and conditions as listed below.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to any subsequent purchasers.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for any other losses due to a warrantable items failure to perform other than the replacement of such parts.
This includes traveling costs and accommodation expenses and freight costs. The manufacturer requires that the Caravan has been serviced every 10,000 klm or 12 months including its first one month or 1000 klm service. proof must be provided by way of records.
Sunland Reserves the right to refuse warranty if the caravan has had work performed by any party other than an authorised repairer, this includes items that have been fitted by the owner as accessories of modification from the original build.
The following are specific exclusions from the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Suspension, Brakes and Tyres. For any claim please refer to the relevant manufacturer.
- Appliances such as refrigerators, stoves microwave ovens, freezer, air conditioning, Radio, Cassette, TV,DVD,VCR or other similar appliances or options maybe covered by the original appliance manufacturer and the removal and reinstallation maybe at the purchaser’s expense, please check with your local Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd supplier.
- Any defect resulting from an act of god, storm and tempest, an act of terrorism or war declared or not.
- Items that are of a serviceable nature, such items include but are not limited to wheel alignments, door and drawer adjustments after the first service.
- Any defect resulting from over loading, misuse, negligence, accident or other cause beyond the direct control of Sunland Australia Rv Pty Ltd.
- Any consequential damages or repair work necessary due to the continued use or towing of the Caravan after a defect has become or should have become apparent to the owner.
- Any liability for consequential damages or losses, but not limited to inconvenience, loss of use of your Caravan, loss of time, disrupted travel plans, expenses for accommodation, petrol, telephone, loss or damage to personal property. Loss of earnings or rent are expressly excluded.
- The caravan is speed limited and no warranty will apply if towed above 110kph.
- This warranty does not apply to deterioration due to exposure or damage due to natural causes and is limited to correction against defects in materials or workmanship.
- This warranty does not apply to normal service and maintenance items. This is the responsibility and obligation of the purchaser to service and maintain the Caravan in a safe and roadworthy condition. Failure to do so may result in voiding this warranty.
- Warranty will not be considered applicable if Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd are not notified of any claim for warranty whist in the warranty period and presented with the caravan for repairs, any further damage will not be warrantable.
- Rental Hire or commercial use of this caravan will instantly void this warranty.
- Any warranty work must be authorized with a purchase order by Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd prior to commencement.
- Any work performed by a non authorised repairer will not be reimbursed for and may void your warranty unless prior arrangements and consent has been expressly given by Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd.
- Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd does not authorise any dealer or agent or representative to assume for it any responsibility or obligation. Whether expressed or implied, verbally or in writing, except to refer to this warranty.
- Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd reserves the right to make improvements and or changes to its products and is not obligated to the provisions of original manufactured products for warranty purposes. Where appropriate substitution of a superceded original product will be made with current available product.
- Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd will not reimburse the costs of any repairs that have not been authorised by the Service manager or Warranty Manager
- Sunland Australia RV Pty Ltd will not warrant a Caravan where the ATM has been changed or exceeded or where a repair has modified the Caravan from its original manufacture. Over loading your Caravan will result in voiding warranty.
***DO NOT MODIFY ANY PART OF YOUR CARAVAN DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD OR YOU MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY***
The above warranty is in addition to any rights provided though the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended) and or any other relevant Federal or state Legislation that maybe awarded you. In the event that the purchaser may have cause to lodge a claim under this warranty, it is possible that the repairs or the handling of such claims may be delayed if the warranty registration certificate is not completed and returned to Sunland Australia Rv Pty Ltd within 7 days of the date of purchase.
